Global Missions

Ghana Mission

Mankessim – While in the Bible School in Nigeria, Pastor George received the mandate to go to Mankessim in the Central Region of Ghana to start a ministry.  This was like the Macedonian call and upon his return to Ghana in 1992 he worked with Manna Mission Church, Teshie-Accra for a while before relocating to Mankessim.  Pastor George and Florence left for Mankessim to pioneer and established God’s Battle Axe Missions now known as Floodgates Destiny Chapel in 1994.  The ministry has touched hundreds of people especially the students of Mankessim Senior Secondary School, children, youth and market women.  Our outreach programs extended to Breman Essikuma, Dewuranpong, Anasadzi, Ansafona, Bentisgua and many other towns in and around Mankessim.  The church is located at Agric Junction, School Kessim, Ajumako Road.  Rev. Solomon Amoansah is the Senior Pastor of the church in Mankessim. Rev. Stephen Awotwe (Liberty Center) is the Acting Overseer of the Ghana Mission.

Floodgates Audio/Visual Ministry – The Floodgates Audio/Visual Ministry in Ghana reaches out to hundreds and thousands of people in the unreached and unchurched towns and villages with the “Jesus Film” and many other Christ-Centered movies.  This Cinema evangelism is a powerful and effective tool for open air crusades, revival meetings and church planting.  Our partners are InterComm (Winona Lake, Indiana) and Gospel Communications International (Muskegon, Michigan) in the United States.

Accra – Community Glory Church International started in 2012 in one of the fast growing suburbs of Accra on the Tema-Dodowa road. The church is growing rapidly and opening outlets in Winneba, and Agona Swedru.

Kenya Mission

In 2003, Pastor George travelled to Kenya for revival meetings and open air crusades after which a number of churches were foundered under the Floodgates Destiny Chapel in the South Nyanza Province of Migori district of Oyani Maasaai land.  The ministry started in 2000 with a few Prayer Warriors with the vision of organizing discipleship teachings for new converts.  By 2002 the ministry had few committed members praying constantly for revival and expansion. Their prayer was answered when in October 2003 the Lord sent Pastor George all the way from Ghana to the Oyani Maasaai land.  His visit and missionary work in the Oyani Maasaai land gave the ministry a new perspective.  His counsel and leadership teaching series led to the establishment and registration of Floodgates World Missions Chapel (Floodgates Destiny Chapel) to conform to the requirements of the Government of Kenya.  As at the year 2007 the church had eleven branches but had to close down four due to post election violence.  The churches are located in Oyani (headquarters), Ogwedhi Sigawa, Awendo, Migori, Osingo, Dede, and Rakwaro.  We hope to revive the churches in Langata Enoosain church, Manyatta church, Rapogi church, and God Jope church.  Evangelist George Otieno is the National Coordinator.

World Missions Gloryhouse International Church has extended right hand of fellowship to a number of pastors and ministries worldwide.  GIC has the vision to build strong partnership with these ministries to encourage them with an apostolic covering.
